Glorious Technicolor
One of the features we all loved in the original early Genesis performances, was the use of a slideshow to a depth and imagination to the visual imagery.
We have taken this feature and developed it into a stunning backdrop to complement an imaginative and moving light show.
Charterhouse is King
Something truly magical happened in 2019. So many aspects of our show came together to produce the best show we have ever done. With a fascinating introduction by Richard Macphail, the show featured a newly rehearsed double drumming sequences, which featured on some of the classic songs like In the Cage Medley, Los Endos and Suppers Ready. This combined with one of the best light and slide shows, produced a flawless performance to everyone’s delight.
2022 after two years of absence from the stage we are delighted to be back. This time with a few changes to the line-up. Mike Morton replaces Nigel Betteridge on vocals/acting, however we expect Nige to make an appearance! Andy Welsford replaces Russ Wilson on drums. We are hoping for additional special guests to this very special show.

As a huge Genesis fan it feels like a privilege to be able to hear the music from (the early) Genesis at the place where it all started (Charterhouse) on the 2nd of June. So much looking forward to this concert.

Hi Paul,
We’re delighted you feel this way. It’s an enormous honour for us to have the chance to perform at this cherished place in the history of the band we share a common passion for.

I’m finishing off a short history of evictions and homelessness, and why Universal Credit means the working classes will never again be able to afford to cross the Styx – or the class barrier again … .. all started with ‘Get Em Out By Friday’ and ‘Selling England By The Pound’ ….. no one will ever have time to create anything like this music ever again….. rather sad…..
..and of course, anyone in the business who speaks out against it gets branded a ‘scholarship boy’ and targeted by HMRC –

So true Nita – sadly !!

Selling England by the Pound – God that chimes nowadays! Most of the ‘toffs’ back then wanted to build an equitable society , but now? It’s a very limited public company and most of its offshore…. this early stuff is almost prophetic! I’m one of the kids in the loon pants from the 1970s who are now watching their pension funds collapse – look forward to seeing this performed again….
