The Spring Image of Nige

The Salisbury Arts Centre

This is an extraordinary venue for sharing true classic Genesis moments … imagine the closing section of Suppers Ready “Lord of Lords, King of Kings – Has returned to lead his children home – To take them to the new Jerusalem” within a 13th century church.
Formerly St Edmund’s Church, the Salisbury Arts Centre is a beautiful and atmospheric location. If you are worried about an echoing old church, fear not – the knave has been lined by heavy stage curtains and with the benefit of an incredible modern sound system you will be delighted by the sound quality as well as a visual feast of lights, slides, masks and costumes complimenting the very best that early Genesis has to offer.

Another sell-out?

Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the early songs of the influential progressive rock band Genesis, with leading UK tribute band The Book Of Genesis , who faithfully recreate the 1970s era complete with period musical instruments, fabulous costumes, an animated slide show, and atmospheric synchronised lighting in a packed 3 hour show.

This will be a new venue and a new and enthusiastic for The Book Of Genesis, and follows successful year of touring both in the UK (including Charterhouse School – where Genesis formed) , and in Europe (The Gamla, Oslo, Norway and t’Blok, Nieuwerkerk a/d ljsse l, Rotterdam, The Netherlands).
