The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre
The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre is one of the few integrated arts and heritage centres in the UK and use this position to create innovative programmes to inspire and engage the 120,000 residents of Havant Borough and beyond. They want to create experiences that change the way people see the world; to enhance wellbeing and make our community proud.
“The Spring is an inspirational venue with vibrant ideas and a commitment to providing exceptional experiences for its audiences. This is an organisation with the highest quality theatre and live events programme and it is one of the most exciting small-scale cultural organisations in the South East.”
Mark Makin, Touring Associate, House Theatre
Sold Out, Again !
The Spring is the first venue we sold out at on our very first show, and it has continued to do so year after year. There has always been a waiting list each year and so we have taken the decision to use the mixed standing and seated configuration to enable more people to join us. This will also make for a more intimate show which will we’ll all enjoy!!
This year Nige is further transformed into Peter Gabriel (see insert) so please don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the early songs of the influential progressive rock band Genesis, with leading UK tribute band The Book Of Genesis , who faithfully recreate the 1970s era comeplete with period musical instruments, fabulous costumes, an animated slide show, and atmospheric synchronised lighting in a packed 3 hour show.
