The Barnfield Theatre

Exeter Barnfield Theatre is beautiful Victoriai theatre conveniently located in the heart of Exeter.

The theatre dates from 1890, when it was the home of the Exeter Literary Society, and has been variously occupied by the GPO, Civil Defence, the Tax Office and the Exeter Little Theatre Company.

It is now run by a charity, and plays host to a wide variety of shows and conferences. The theatre has a small but dedicated team of staff and volunteers who maintain the building, deliver brochures, serve drinks in the Barnfield Bar, serve snacks and ice creams, meet and greet, man the box office desk and telephone and work hard to make your visit to the Barnfield Theatre the most welcoming, friendly and entertaining experience it can be.

Taking you westward, agriculturally speaking

This is a fabulous new venue for those in the far flung corners of our fair land. You will entertained in full costume and valour by the UK’s leading tribute band The Book Of Genesis , who faithfully recreate the 1970s era complete with period musical instruments, sumptuous costumes, an animated slide show, and atmospheric synchronised lighting in a packed 3 hour show. There is no short change here as we will undoubtedly be Selling England by the Pound !!
